Cause an RC

Ok, so I woke up this morning and wrote my dreams down in my journal. And as I looked at them I realized that if I had only done a reality check it would have been a great lucid experience. So, how can I cause myself to reality check in my dreams?

the only thing that i know of is doing RC's in real life whenever you think you might be dreaming. And then eventually that will be a habit and habits are reflected in dreams, so it should give you a RC in the dream, but the trick is doing it in a Dream and not blowing it off as normal, so make your realife RC's count

I do that all the time. Like, every once in occasionally, I will think to myself, am I dreaming then I do the breathing one and the check sign one and the finger through hand one.
