      almost WILD?

      last night i was trying to sleep, i had just been reading about WILD, i started to feel something which felt sort of like pins and needles, it wasnt as irritating as pins and needles usually is, and it covered more of my body than it usually would, i thought it was pins and needles so i moved around a bit because it felt weird, and it stoped, then i realised that it might have been the start of a WILD.

      was it?

      Defiantly the start of sleep paralysis. It varies from person to person, but the fact that it stopped as soon as you moved is a good hint that it was sleep paralysis.

      Sounds like you were getting some hypnagogic hallucinations or that maybe your body wasn't getting a good blood flow haha The fact that you could move means it is not SP.

      Not true. It is possible to break out of sleep paralysis.

      The "hag" condition, seperated from normal Sleep Paralysis as ""isolated sleep paralysis" is more difficult to break out of because of the
      state of mind.

      Does it not make sense to you Shift that if you are awake and want to move your body would take this as a sign to "switch off" SP?

      Yes, it was indeed the start of a WILD.

      As you will note, there is a bit of debate about the use of the term paralysis, but the pins and needles/wave is a very common feeling.

      Check out this Tutorial which is pretty great;

      Sleep paralysis is a disorder whereby the sleeper awakens and finds that their physical body is paralyzed. Also, it occurs prior to going to sleep, when the sleeper realizes that they have become paralyzed.

      I mean by definition that's what sleep paralysis is. A disorder where you can't move when you should be able to.

      Obviously it's not a sign to switch off SP, because your body is supposed to realize that you are awake and make sure REM atonia is off. If it's not regulating that properly, then you find yourself paralyzed and you are in sleep paralysis.

      Slash, IMO it absolutely was onset of SP.
      I've experienced it myself. There is nothing like it.
