Dream Yoga Therapy
Note: Don't do this if you are allergic to rubber band material, of course. Also don't do it if you feel for any other reason it would be detrimental to your well being and overall health. Seriously. But it in my opinion, isn't harmful.
Introduction
Lets keep it short, considering this is already a technique, I did not make it up. This is not intended to be used alone as an RC, but together on your journey of dream yoga. I suggest the wonderful unbiased
Dream Yoga guide by BillyBob. If this technique has already been created by someone for use in lucid dreaming, I was not aware. I made this for myself, and for everyone else having problems with discipline and habit making. I noticed a lot of folks including myself, have issues making some or all of the principles of dream yoga apart of our busy lives. I myself have not tried this for this purpose, but I can attest to it working with other habits that I wanted to make or break.

How it's done
Generally use this with dream yoga, but it can be used separately as an RC. Ah and I advise using a color that will catch your eye if you can, such as red.
1) Buy a bundle of rubber bands, or anything elastic such as one of those hair-tie things.
2) Put around your wrist and keep it there all day until bed and take it off, or keep on. (remember to put it on in the morning!)
3) Snap it against your skin (enough for it to be a painful reminder) whenever you find yourself drifting off into fantasy, emotions, or other thought.
4) Return to the moment.
5) Repeat when nessesary.
Why?
Two reasons.
1) It is a physical tool in which you have to remind you to pay attention and take control, also the pain will tell your brain not to stray from the desired goal.
2) It allows for habit building, so that later you can do it without needing a rubber band. (may take a while for dream yoga)
Advantages & Why it works
-The pain will and should teach your brain not to wander in thought. (after a while of course.)
-It serves as a material reminder of what your doing, and your purpose.
-You may notice in your dream if your emotions/thoughts begin to drift, you are not wearing a rubber band, then become lucid.
-It gives you the ability to consciously discipline yourself, rather than a beeping watch.
I welcome any comments, questions, or suggestions. No concerns, this aint the complaint department.
