- It may or may not work. The CD Thing is hit and miss with different people. For some it works, others it doesn't. One key factor, is how well outside stimulus effects your dream. For instance, if someone turns on a light in your room while your asleep, will it figure into the dream somehow. Your ability to suggestitivity has to be taken into account. |

Instead of using a CD, it's more effective to repeat that sentence yourself when falling asleep and to mean it. It's the difference between suggestion (ineffective) and intention (effective). Plus I would extend it a little: "The next time I'm dreaming, I'll realize I'm dreaming and do a reality check. Am I dreaming now?" Without that I'm having dreams where I dream that I know that I'm dreaming, but I'm not lucid. Doing a RC is a relatively safe way to become lucid though. For the "Am I dreaming now?" I don't see much reason, but I haven't tried it yet. |

bad recall doesnt really affect your ability to lucid dream, but when you wake up it will be like it never happened. e.g. you know those nights when you dont have a dream, well you did actualy you just didnt remember it, same hapens for LDs |
