Cacophony, your post seems overly hostile. She was simply posing an idea, nothing more. Just because you don't agree with the holiday doesn't mean that others can't. If you looked into it, you'd also find that Coca Cola did not create Santa Clause (even the modern view). On topic, I would have to say that I wouldn't do something vastly different, although I may try to conjure up a snowy scene.

It be "Polar Express" style, because the way they portrayed Santa, and everything about getting to the North Pole, was nothing short of beautiful to me. Just a warning; If this thread DOES happen to stray off course, I'm either deleting the off topic posts or moving this all together. This is satire, right? Just take advantage of it, it's everywhere. Everytime you see something christmasy, or hear christmas music. Do an RC... This seems like a reasonable idea, especially if you tend to think about the holiday a lot during the preceding months. However, depending on where you spend your days, this could involve near-constant reality checking.

I would like to create a snowy scene, something beautiful with snowflakes and crystal ice. Then I would conjure up a dogsled(very Alaskan of me), and take a pleasant ride. =) That's probably something I would do in real life, but I know it'd be much more pleasant in a dream setting.
