People you can trust: Me, Seeker28, Shift, Ninja9578 ( I think that's it ) Dizko, anonymoose, TheMoon ( of course )

People you should probably stay away from for right now: arne saknussemm, not sure about Tarsier; he/she tends to be a little rude. The Cusp has the same general issue as Tarsier from what I've seen even on this thread ( sorry if any of that seemed biased ).

Other than those notable exceptions, most people here are trustworthy and willing to invest their time to help you.

Thank you for the welcome, and for the help! I didn't mind The Cusp's post. He/she has every right say what they did. I appreciate those comments posted defending my situation. Arne on the other hand... just kinda freaked me out lol.
I'll do my best to make decent contributions, and learn more about lucid dreaming.

If anything, I would stay away from the potassium pills. I am not an expert in this, but I know bananas have a large amount of potassium and are known to help lucid dreaming, so I would stay off them none the less.
Okay, I'll do that. I'll need to talk to my doc about leaving off of the potassium. ( Something to do with the lower intestine surgery and the deficiency of potassium could cause the problem to happen again.)

My dreams haven't really changed as my diet has changed, so I didn't think about that.

Aw, well, I seem to have more faith in the DV community than you but, I appreciate the love

Oni is right though, if you've got any questions about lucid dreaming I'll do my best to answer them for ya. Welcome to DV at any rate.

If you're on so many medications, presumably you've got a doctor? Have you tried speaking to them about this problem?
Hi Shift! Thanks for the welcome and the help!
I brought the subject up to my doctor a few weeks ago, but he couldn't quite get his head around the fact that I "wake up" in my dreams every night, and I have since I was a child. He told me to make an appointment with the psychiatrist on staff at the hospital. Having my doc look at me like I'm is always fun!

Ah, yeah. I mentioned it to my psychology professor and SHE thought I was nuts. Not that it exists- but that it is what I said it was. She doesn't seem to realize the real-time aspect of it and thinks it's all memories. I tried to explain it and got blank stares And I had such faith in cognitive psychologist like herself It is hard to find people who believe it and harder to find those who do it. Couldn't hurt to at least try to doctors and see if any of them are familiar with lucid dreaming *shrug* you never know, maybe one of them is even a natural?

sorry to hear that she was so closed minded about it. There are no lucid dreamers in my family, but they take it in stride. On the other hand, there are those I go to classes with or my prof's. (Theology professor) who would like nothing more than to forget the fact that I mentioned that I have lucid dreames.

Oh, I didn't know you were taking the pills as of this moment. If they are necessary, by no means should you stop taking them. The way you said it made it sound like it was just a supplement you took.
I quit taking the pills a while back because I couldn't afford them, buying bananas was much cheaper. But like you said, I do believe they also contain another/more vitamins than just potassium.

You'd think that having a medical degree, the doctor would know what lucid dreaming is....
      Ain't that the truth!?

If it doesn't work within 2-3 weeks, I would go back to your old diet. No sense denying yourself those nutrients if it's not for a good reason.

Thanks for all the help. I'll do that, and I'll let you know if it makes a difference.
