The health benefits from your diet far outweigh any effects they're having on your dreams.
Yeah id have to say the same. Not eating a balanced diet to prevent lucid dreaming doesn't sound like the best thing.

I don't think that it has anything to do with your vitamin intake or daily exercise routine. You will find that elite athletes don't have a natural lucid dream process even though they have the best of both. Even if I am wrong by doing a simple task like I have given to you, or even the one Arne gave to you, it could be possible that you would find out the answer yourself.

You seemed to have gotten the wrong impression of Arne, people on these forums don't seem to like him because they don't understand what he is trying to achieve. The simple tasks which we can give you may be able to unlock something or help you out in a way, but you have to give us a chance first.

You might find that there is something in your dreams which you need to find out. Dreams come to people with a message, usually the person having the dream is the best analyser of what the dream actually means.

Next time you have a lucid dream try asking one of the dream characters (or it would be better if you could summon God or another form of yourself) to ask them what your lucid dreams are trying to tell you.

Do not try and control the dream characters at all, instead allow the dream to create the answer which they give to you.

I think that by summoning someone like this, or a natural character that is already in the dream, you should be able to get the answer that your body is trying to tell you straight away. Even if there is nothing that your body or mind is trying to tell you, you will not be at loss by trying it anyway. If you are a natural dreamer it should be easy for you to find time to do this task, just give it a shot the next time you go to sleep.

I hope my task does help you out, but I myself am not an expert at coming up with these tasks. Arne on the other hand comes with experience, but as I said whenever he tries to suggest something on the forum all he gets are personal attacks from random people who are not even here to give advise.
Do not try and bend the dream. That's impossible. Instead... only try to realise the truth.
      There is no dream.
Then you'll see, that it is not the dream that bends, it is only yourself.

I'm not off topic, I'm suggesting a way for her to find out why she is restless. That's what she needs to ask the dream characters.

I believe that there is something in her dreams, but she might not be picking up on this. Her body may be making her tired by itself because it wants her to be asleep and find out what the message is.

I suggested talking to the dream characters because they are part of the dream. If it isn't something in her dream that is causing it then maybe still in a dream she could ask her subconscious mind (one again through the use of talking to DCs) to find out what is wrong.

If it doesn't work: She is at no loss.

      Haha, wow. Man.

Either a) you are Arne b) you really do only have 4 posts worth of time here and really know nothing about anything, and really are just that dumb.

I'm banking on the latter, but either way, kindly shut up please. You've had nothing constructive to say in your first four posts, and you know that old cliche about first impressions, I'm sure...

I advise you do something productive or leave before forced to, rather than become another annoying troll (and not even the slightly-funny, mildly-entertaining kind).

It's a shame this thread has been so many times; I personally found it very interesting.

You children should learn to behave yourselves... I'm amazed anyone new ever sticks around these boards, with the lot of you acting the way you are.

Lesson: just because the internet allows you to act like an anonymous douchebag does not mean that you should act like one.

Sylunea, if you haven't been scared away by these fools , how did last night go for you? What changes did you make, if any, and did you notice anything differently?

I just thought of something else, when I saw that I still have the Brainwave Generator on my desktop... I'm kind of on the fence as to whether it actually does much of anything or if it's all placebo, but have you ever experimented with binaural beats? Maybe you could try using one in the low delta range while you sleep? That may keep your awareness down when you need it...

      "may"...

I know it's been a long time, but I was curious how things were going? If you still haven't found a solution, maybe you are open to hypnosis?

Maybe if she tried going to bed and falling asleep in her lucid dream.
The creature laughed, scornfully. "I," it said, "am afraid of nothing." "Nothing?" "Nothing," it said. "Are you extremely afraid of nothing?" "Absolutely terrified of it," admitted the dragon. "You know, I have nothing in my pocket, would you like to see it?" "No," said the dragon, uncomfortably, "I most definitely would not." There was flapping....and Charlie was alone of the beach.
"That," he said, "was much too easy."

Please read all of the other posts before posting when the thread is only a couple of pages long. This has been suggested more than once, and it doesn't work. I'm sure we all appreciate the suggestion though.

My apologies, your right. I did not and should have.

Hmmm, nothing that hasn't already been said-which is a lot.
Reading through the thread was really interesting though-a wealth of information.
I quite enjoyed it...and should have done it in the first place.

Have you even read the thread?
This has been suggested a hundred times before, and it doesn't work.
And for her it's clearly not 'ridiculous', but problematic.

Hey. I have the same problem as your friend. It's very frustrating you feel as though you never rest because automation never occurs. I mentally feel like i'm always awake because i'm constantly thinking or doing. I've watched television in dreams, i've read in dreams, and yes I have tried sleeping in dreams. But it just feels like i'm still in the waking state.

Anyway I've found that I cope with this by varying my level of lucidity. You should see if your friend can find a way to tone it down. Let everything else exist and try to become reactive to their dreams. I often keep the majority of my lucidity at bay unless I begin to enter a nightmare in which case I tend to kick things into full gear to put an end to it. So perhaps that will help. My only other suggestion is drink heavily because the simple and dark blackness that a drunken nap can provide is blissful but absolutely terrible for you unfortunately.

For a bit of background I began lucid dreaming when I was about 2-4. In a nightmare there was a strange black and enigmatic apparition with enormous teeth and red eyes. Not very imaginative but for a child of that age it was absolutely terrifying. In my fear I split the creature in two mentally and a blinding white light emerged from the bifurcated area and I woke up. Lucid ever sense.

I am a bit fearful of this happening to me in all honesty. Last night I had an encounter with a dog that would have been unfortunate without lucidity.
