      WILD in pitch black ok?

Is it ok to WILD in pitch black? My room is in the basement, so it is always pitch black. (cant even tell when it is morning or not)
every time, I turn off the lights to go to bed, I immediately experience HH (wich is sometimes scary and I need a nightlight..... Yes I am 16... W.E)
so is it best to WILD with these conditions?

Well you have had 8 WILDs.
I would keep doing what you were doing.

I find having less light makes me have more effective/more vivid dreams.

      I'm not sure why.

For me WILD is all about tactile sensations, so light has nothing to do with it initially. In fact, I would say the less light the better because having no vision amplifies my other senses. Once I enter my dream body, if the WILD is OBE-like in nature, then the darkness can be a problem. But it is usually not too hard to make some light appear if you try intently enough. Don't use a light switch, but move your hands up like you are "magically" adding light to the scene. Works for me.

melatonin does not disperse in the dark only in light, it helps you got to sleep, so complete darkness would probally be a really quick way to enter a WILD becuase it would make easier because you would fall asleep faster
