Rush of adrenalin ruining SP and hallucinations?

Hey guys, I'm about to go to bed so I really just want a quick answer.
Over the past few nights I've had a problem with WILDing in that I wake up six hours after I go to sleep, get to the point where I start seeing flashes of red/blue light, and get too excited about getting this far meaning that I get a surge of adrenalin which snaps me right back to full wakefulness. Is there anything I can do to stop this / am I doing something wrong?

      Cheers,
      Bob.

for me, sleep paralysis is somthing im getting closer and closer to. i have a similar problem to you, anytime somthing starts to happen i get excited and get an adrenalin rush.
i think that the more it happens, the more you will get used to it and the more calm you will be about it.
or maybe a way is not to focus on the potential LD coming up , getting all excited about flying, but rather focus on the paterns your seeing.
also think of it as a 'ride' ie, "where is it going to take me now"

      You're probably right.

I remember the first few DILDs I had were ruined in a similar way. Just the "I'M DREAMING! TIME TO FL -wakes up from excitement-"

I suppose it /will/ get easier with time as I get used to it.

      Thanks for the reply,
      Bob.
