K so i was wondering what you guys think of this technique and have any of you ever used it and will it even work its called the gaze technique

-Sleep 4-6 hours.
-wake up for like 2 minutes and remind yourself of your intention to wild and write on your dream journal and stay up longer if you have to write a lot.
-get in position of sleeping and fix your gaze on an object. like maybe a poster on the wall or anything in the room.
-stay this way and don't fall asleep.
-you will soon enter a lucid dream.


from what i have read in the gaze technique you look at any object and focus on it and soon your eyes will feel heavier and heavier but you should keep focusing on the object and eventually your real eyes will close but you will still be able to see the object and then can accordingly move your body out of your bed and you will be in your dream world.
