      Question about technicalities

Well last night I was dreaming and was controlling everything, but my brain never actually stated, "This is a dream." I mean it was a very vivid dream and all vivid dreams turn into DILDS for me without me even realizing it, but i still control everything. and as I think about it, I only realized it was a lucid dream when i woke up, but on the other hand, (for the third time) I had the control... so what's going on here? Would that count as a lucid dream? Just wondering about the technicalities. that one dream got me back into it so I'm returning partially now.

happy dreaming, off to face the next adventrure

just because youo controlled your dream, doesn't mean it was a lucid dream. I've had dreams like this before.

The whole idea of a LUCID dream is actually knowing you're dreaming, nothing to do with controlling. (imo)

i know that, but it was in the back of my mind, the fact that it was a dream, after i started doing crazy stuff, just not 100% lucid. maybe a low level?

If you knew that you were dreaming, then it was a lucid dream. If you didn't then you weren't. The standard of awareness required to 'know' is up for your interpretation.

      But does it really matter?
