      Needs some new reality checks or other ways to attain lucidity

      So I've been trying at this for one month and I've been writting down all of my dreams and I'e gotten my dream recall to at least one, if not two or three dreams every night. I've tried various reality checks, such as writting on your hand and checking it every hour, asking myself if I am dreaming etc. I'm almost getting to the point where I ready to give up, are there any tips or reality checks you may be able to help me with?

      Relaxing and start using some techniques like MILD, WBTB or DEILD. Are good ones to induce lucidity.

      Try poking your finger through your hand, stretching your finger, finger over your nose then try and breathe... ummm.... damn i can't think of any right now, but don't give up!
      Seriously, when you do LD for the first time it will be something you will remember for ever, its amazing.
      The good thing is, once you do it once, you'll want to do it again, and you will, and you'll just get better and better at it.
      Nothing is perfect.

      i poked my finger through my hand one time, it actually hurt, which is weird, i thought you cant feel pain in a dream. pinching my nose and breathing was the one i used mostly, but one time i looked at my hand, i thought i was going to crap myself, but it just looked funny, that was a good one, and ithink i will us e that from now on.

      i suppose you could look in a mirror, but to be honest, i dont want to do that any time soon, i dont want to get a massive fright, it would probably turn into a nightmare instead of LD.

      I think you can feel pain as a psychological occurence although I never had it by doing that reality check it probably just had to do with you believing placing your finger through your hand must be painful. Alot of sensations exist but in a different form than in real life kind of (much like sound in dreams). Just like you think looking in a mirror could trigger a nightmare (maybe cause you're scared what will show up inside).

      i feel pain as annoying feeling but i know many people who feel pain as well pain
