      WILD - voices

Okay i posted this in the wrong section and im quite interested to see what it is about so gona repost it here instead.

      Sorry for double post.

Okay so when i attempted a WILD last night i heard a lowd single THUD. It kind of made me jump but i stayed relaxed, i then heard mumbled voices out side my window follow by mumbled voices from my parents room. I asked my parents and they have no recolection of the big bang or voices.

Ive read this can be part of a WILD. Was it? Unfortunally the voices threw me as i thought they were real and they shoock my concentration

      Ignoring these comes with experience.
It's like riding a rollercoaster. The first time you almost wet yourself, the fifth time it is almost second nature.

Gosh those are so freaky. I once thought I heard a man take a loud intake of breath right next to my bed and it really freaked me out because that was before i knew waht WILD or lucid dreaming really were

I would shit myself if that happened and I didn't know what was going on
Edit: Now that I think about it, when I was like 6 years old. I woke up, and I was still half-asleep, so I was kind of halucinating. There was a spare pillow on the end of my bed, and for some reason I thought it was a duck, and I woke up my mom crying "THERES A DUCK ON MY BED".

I snapped out of it and felt rather dumb.

Hell I know what's going on and I will still get scared. (never gone into it yet only partial)

One time I heard mumblings but I was so tired I just kinda fell asleep.

I can confirm that such noises are usual during/before the transition stages of WILD.
I have heard loud BANGs, voices, telephone ringing...
When doing a WILD you have to remember that "anything that will happen is not real" and ignore all those noises.

The same when you feel your body starting to fall from the bed, by the way
      Dec. 2006 - July 2007:
      92 DILDs + 30 WILDs ; 75% too short, 24% decent, ~3 of 2 to 5 minutes
      (I stopped counting after that)

When ever i first start going to sleep at night i hear voices. And things like that all the time.

In sleep paralysis its perfectly normal to see and hear things.

This has been happening to me since i was a little kid, waking up paralyzed and hearing and seeing stuff.

Ive had plenty of years to get use to it, but it is still pretty scary. I try my best just to ignore it and focus on lucid dreaming

First time going into it (this morning) I had ANNOYING beeping. The scary part is something kept hitting me but it wasn't real I guess. How does our body "feel" it.

I hear heavy knocking on the wall and like loud voices moving to me, but only for a few seconds before heavy SP sets in.

At full SP I feel like a full electric shock (mainly in my upper torso),
and my mind says we should be in heavy pain, but when I really tried to feel it, I wasn't in any pain. If that makes sense. Like I tested it for pain.
So the shocking is tight muscle tension from what I can make out.
I now just float along with it and almost laugh when I get it, because I know I will OBE or LD after it.
Knowledge is Power, as they say.
I assume others get this heaviest form of SP?

Along with twisting arms, and legs..
And I sleep with my mouth closed.
And when I go into SP it fells like my mouth opens lmfao.
Sometimes My head will be touchingmy pillow, and were it touchs, it fells like my head gets indented my the pillow,
sometimes it just happens randomly on my forehead.
it just gets indetentd, and all elctirc...

it was hypnagogic sounds i guess. You can get those before you fall asleep, often in combination with hypnagogic imagary.
I've heard people talking before i went to sleep, and then when i get disturbed by it and wake up and ask someone (whoever is close to me or the person) what he or she said they will go like "What?!, i didn't say anything" XD
The voices where the dream that was forming a scenario i guess.

Sylvia Browne says those voices you hear are dead people...ha! I too "hear" things that sound very real and outside of my head. Don't worry about it, it's normal.

What happens to me is they start out sounding like they're inside of my head, and then suddenly they sound like they're coming from an external source. I actually like it, it's totally trippy.
