iv had one lucid dream, it was a WILD. but i know for sure that i got it because i took a break from the whole lucid thing.

just going to bed without thinking about it sort of thing. i dont know why but taking a break seems to work, i think we can try to hard with lucid dreaming and our mind gets a 'writers block', i dunno. but take a break for a week or 2.
it could be that attempting lucid dreaming and failing every night damages our confidence, and confidence is key.

      hope that helps

ha, you'll know a dry spell when you get one. a month = nothing.

dry spells are just part of the deal for most of us. some people go on dry spells in the "years" range. lots of reasons... don't "work on it" as much during some periods of your life, other things come up, stress, lack of confidence in attaining lucidity... it happens.

there are some people that can just naturally lucid dream at will, the rest of us have to work to get to that point. don't worry, it'll happen again for you. just get plenty of sleep, follow the basics, and do whatever you can to make sure you're confident about your ability to LD. hard to do in a dry spell, but you have to find a way. confidence is everything.
