Does anyone else get this when WILDing

I managed two short WILDs this morning. But they were unstable and I couldn't sustain them for very long.

But my question is this. On both occasions just before dropping into a dream I felt the fuzzy whoosh come over me (the SP wave I guess).

Heres the thing though. I kind of feel that I some how instigated them.
It was like I was lying in bed, then I imagined I was pushing my body down into the bed (though I wasn't of course) then the wave came.

I think probably I just noticed the physiolocical change coming and responded to it. But theres also a chance that by focussing on "pushing" my body down I did kick start the process.

Has anyone else ever had a similar experience?

I sort of know what you mean and yes I have. However with me it's more that I consciously detach from my body so that I'm just a floating brain and I can't feel my body at all. I've read on here that a few people experience a sensation of falling through their bed when they WILD so they deliberately imagine this feeling and this helps instigate the process of falling asleep.

      Hope that makes sense

I can initiate the wave that way too. I feel them more like vibrations though. What I do though is imagine Im on a lift going down a dark cave. With every inhale I remain stationary, but on every exhale I imagine I can feel the lift slowly dropping. This is a good way to relax your body, and slow down your breathing, which puts you in the mind awake/body asleep state that brings on sp.

      Interesting.

I suppose theres a chance that by focussing on generating that feeling your actually quieting your mind down enough to make that final transition to dream land..
