I think I'm in the same boat as you, when I would lay completly still in about an hour I would start to feel tingling sensations all over my body like your foots asleep but way more intense... |

okay so ill attempt a wild and ill be layin there perfectly still and my body will go numb an i get weird like pulses goin through my body. and ill get these random twitches an then ill start feeling like im sinking into my bed? but then my chest gets heavy and i feel like i cant breath so then i start thinking/manually controlling my breathin an the sinking feeling/numbness goes away. and then the start of SP goes away :/ Cause i concentrated on my breathing too much i guess.so how can i get past that and actually go into the full SP state? instead of just gettin halfway? normally i just go numb an then nothing happens and i end up falling asleep.BTW i normally attempt this right before i go to bed. at like 10pm.Ive tried some tech. in clarity's WILD guide to get past the halfway point in SP but alas none worked for me :/ |

I use to experience this alot when I was first starting out. Whats happening is youre getting too excited, because you feel like youre suffocating and cant breath. What you have to learn to do is control your excitment level when you reach this state, and the only way I learned to control it was with experience. Youre not really suffocating, it just feels like a mini anxiety attack. It cant hurt you at all. |

I'm stuck at about this part of WILD'ing aswell, however, you say you're trying this when going to sleep. Don't. WILD will work much better if you attempt it after few hours of sleep, lets say 4-6, plus, even if the WILD fails you have a great change to have a normal DILD. (because of the WBTB). |

DILDS: 14
WILDS: 1
If you're trying to feel full SP, you're doing it WRONG. The way you're supposed to WILD is, you get about half way through SP, then you start making the dream and entering it. By the time you can walk around in the dream, your body will automatically be in full SP. |
