      What'd I do?

I recently had my first LD. I had woken up from a dream, and I wanted to go back to bed. I lied down motionless for a while with my eyes closed constantly reminding myself to realize I was dreaming.

My body might've shook (though I might have just imagined it) and I started to see colors. This next part is... weird to describe. The colors I saw started to seperate themselves from the blackness of my eyelids, so in a way, it felt as if I had two different visions going on. The black began to fade and then the colors began to take form. At this point I was dreaming and immediately became lucid.

Obviously, I know I became lucid, but I'm not really sure of what technique I used (though I think it might have been MILD). Does anybody know what I did to become lucid? I want to try this technique again sometime because my dream (while short) was very, very vivid.
      Goals:
[x] Have a clear lucid dream
      [x] Fly
      [ ] Survive a zombie apocalypse
[ ] Go on a destuctive rampage w/ superhuman abilities
[ ] Finish a marathon in slow-motion to Chariots on Fire

It sounds a bit like WILD, going straight from a waking state into a dream. A lot of people experience shaking or images or sounds during WILD initiation, so it's not unusual. I'd recommend taking a look at some of the tutorials for some more ideas and see if you're interested in going in that direction.

If this is something that comes relatively easily to you, you could also take a look at the Dream Re-Entry tutorial (also known as DEILD). Basically, you take the last dream you had and focus on it until you are sleeping again and re-enter the dream world.
