      Talking -Extremely Helpful IMO-

Welcome! I've just finished watching this web series on lucid dreaming. I had first watched the Learn Lucid Dreaming videos but had been a little scared of the title: Advanced Lucid Dreaming, knowing that I was completely new to the whole lucid thing. Now that I have finished watching the Advanced series I would highly recommend it. It helped me with something that has been preventing me from having lucid dreams, more specifically, putting all the trust in the techniques instead of in myself. I had been jumping from technique to technique, and as described in the videos, trusted in the techniques themselves as some foolproof, perfect way to induce lucid dreaming. These videos, especially this one, really helped me to change my approach to techniques and lucid dreaming in general and I cannot recommend them highly enough. I really think if you take the time to watch and think about what is said it will help you tremendously, as it has helped me. I would love any feedback on how this has helped you, or any results, thoughts, or ideas you have becuase of this.

Ha! Good point. But do you have anything to say pertaining to the subject?

Those advanced tutorials videos were exactly what I needed to hear! Now how come I can never find videos like that when I search?

That's exactly how I felt! By the way, last night, after watching them, I had my first lucid!

I attempted a WILD the night I was watching his video on it and I have to say, wow. At first I wasn't sure I was doing the technique right but after a while it was like a switch suddenly went off. The darkness from my eyelids changed and I felt a sensation through my whole body I can't describe. I found myself smiling from the feeling to the point where I laughed myself out of it lol.

I did it as soon as I went to bed instead of sleeping first just to see if it would work. I'm quite interested in WILD now when I used to just loath it since it seemed to difficult...

Thats how I've tried WILDs too, without sleeping first. Mainly becuase it's convenient. The first time I tried WILDing after watching the series I also had very good success. I finally had to quit becuase I was too excited to continue. Later that night though, I had my first lucid, via DILD.

Videos helped me get motivated a lot but did not have a ld though. Whenever I was getting closer I would lose it and become awake for some reason. I think my body twitched every time, the twitch is my arms just like jumping in the air for some odd reason. I've always had this problem with trying to WILD but I was getting really close I could tell. I'm getting used to that though and learning to ignore it, but I sneezed twice which pretty much screwed me up. From the few videos I watched it gave me a lot of confidence . I slept in a different position(facing up, typicaly I sleep on my right) and I think I stayed awake to long for my wild(30 min) so I'm just gonna sleep normally and stay up not as long. I would recommend watching the videos to those who have not already

Tim is a pretty nice guy. I've PMd him a few times on Youtube.

Great series. He's presents it in a fun and smart way.

if only we could all stop twitching, I've started to ignore it but like last night it happened at least 5 times. The sneezing is what really set me off though because I felt them coming and I knew there was nothing I could do about it, guess I should have just try to be nonchalant about it like the twitching.

Yeah, twitching bothers me too. I have to just keep the mindset, "Twitching doesn't bother me at all. I have the power to do this and a little twitch sure isn't going to stop me!"
