Question I'm always alone when I go lucid. What can I draw from this?

I've had a total of three DILDs, and on all three occasions I've been alone in a relatively small space (bathroom, bedroom, car). The overwhelming majority of the time I'm surrounded by friends or random DCs, but once in a great while I'll find myself totally alone, and perhaps that's when my mind is least distracted.

I'm trying to think of how I might effectively leverage this to achieve more LDs. Perhaps I could use autosuggestion to help set up scenarios where I'm isolated. Maybe there's something fundamental to all this that I'm just missing entirely. I dunno... that's why I'm here!

Also worthy of note (although tangential) is that I no longer need DCs to help me get what I want out of dreams, which is an incredibly reassuring development. The down side is that I occasionally have... er... random thoughts, that make unpleasant things appear in my LDs.

Could be a couple things - but is it really that important as long as you're becoming lucid?

Sounds like being alone acts as a dreamsing for you. My guess is that when you're alone, you're more likely to think of your 'self', becoming more conscious of what you are doing, where you are, etc. So, the same goes for deams.

When you are around other people, you're distracted and too busy focusing on THEIR actions and existence. It's when you're alone that you're more likely to focus on your own status, "where am I, what am I doing, why am I alone, what am I looking for... am I dreaming?

Almost every one of my WILD dreams begins with me arriving in
Dream~World™ on the floor of my bedroom. From there I have to make my way out into the rest of the place then out through the door into the real world (if I so desire). So I know what it's like to be totally alone in an LD.
It's not too much fun though. That's why I try and make it out the door as soon as possible. That's when the fun begins because I never know what's behind that front door.

Side Note: One time I spent the entire lucid dream sitting in the living room watching tv. So yes .. LD's can indeed be as boring as RL (real life).

but is it really that important as long as you're becoming lucid?
My long term goal is to become lucid with regular frequency, so anything that brings me closer to that is worth looking into. If I'm more prone to examining my surroundings when I'm alone, then perhaps I need to focus on steering myself toward dream material that affords me more time by myself. This was what I had in mind when I mentioned this, but LDing is a deep subject, and there seems to always be more than one way of looking at things. I was wondering if I was missing some simple explanation that I could exploit to increase the frequency of my LDs.

As it stands, it took ~5 months of training to achieve my first LD. Two months later, I had my next, and exactly one month later I had this one. Although that's not much data to go by, it would suggest that it will take quite some time before I get to where I'm having a LD every day or two. I'm patient, as always, but ever watchful for anything that might speed up the process.
