So over the last couple weeks I've noticed that my recall has been diminished and I haven't had any lucid dreams. But then I realized that over the last couple months, I would randomly wake up at around 4 every night, which I haven't been doing lately. So a couple nights ago I set my alarm for 4, woke up, and immediately went back to bed. Lo and behold, I have an extremely realistic dream that was very close to becoming lucid that I remember completely. Anyone else find that waking up in the middle of the night helps their clarity/recall/chance of lucid?
