You have to work harder during the day to make sure that your awareness is up to par if you want to DILD. Do you have any dreamsigns?

      This belongs in Attaining Lucidity.

Throughout the day when something feels weird or strange to you do a RC, and ask yourself if you're dreaming. After doing this a while, it will eventually carry on into your dreams, so when something unusual happens in your dream, you'll do a RC.

This usually works for me. OH, and btw,if you can't seem to RC in your dreams, then you should try diffrent methods to attain lucidity such as WILD, FILD. There is a bunch of different methods. You're going to have to search the forums for tutorials. Hope this helps.

In order to become aware in your dreams, you must be aware in waking life. Observe your surroundings, check if things are unusual or out of place. That way, when your in your dreams, out of habit you will want to observe your surroundings. Typically, because you are observing your surroundings whilst in a dream, you will be able to find something that just doesn't belong, is inaccurate, or just is plain out bizarre....hopefully resulting in you becoming Lucid while dreaming.

Think of it like this: to be Lucid in dreams means to be Lucid in waking life.
