Not Sure How to Enter SP Exactly

      Hey,

Last night I was trying to LD by visualizing a scenario that involved all of my senses. I imagined being on top of a extremely high cliff with a waterfall below me, and once I imagined and felt the ground/dirt as I kneeled down to touch it, I imagined hearing the sounds of the water and the birds around, the cool breeze on my skin, as I jumped off face first enjoying the free fall.

After a while of this, I began to feel my body vibrate, but had no idea what to do after this. The vibrations started fading once I focused on the Vibrations and not my visualization. So I started visualizing the waterfall scenario again, and my vibrations came back but they were short lived once again.

I'm not sure where to take it from there!

I'm no expert, but I would say to just let it happen. Don't focus on them too much, just let them take over your body and work their way up to your head. When I first go the vibrations, it started at my feet and I let it go up to my chest before I got scared and stopped them. I'm guessing if I just "let them go", I would have fallen into SP.

Hopefully that helps a wee bit, but I would definitely consult with somebody who knows a lot more about the subject, or is quite good at SP.

Welcome to the forums, by the way! If you don't know already, you can keep an online DJ (dream journal) and also read other peoples public DJ's! Welcome aboard.

      Thanks for the tip.

Yeah I kind of let it happen and felt it all the way to my head. The only other time this has happened, is when I practiced meditation a few months ago. I had the vibrations and then felt like I was spinning really fast in circles when in fact I was firmly planted on my bed.

      I'll try again tonight!

Keep at it! you'll get it soon enough. If you did not know already, sleep deprivation helps a lot. If you get no sleep for one day, and THEN try to enter SP, it would probably come easier.

      Hey,

Thanks for the tip. A big reason for me to get into this and meditation is actually to be able to attain a much better nights sleep, as I am a college student who constantly walks around with bags under his eyes, and misses the first couple of classes due to having such a poor night of sleep that I can't even get up

I'll try it on the weekend tho!
