Exclamation Was I about to WILD or something?

Last night at about 2, 3 A.M. i woke up from this dream I had of someone threatening me. I wanted to make sure it wasn't an FA so I did a few reality checks and I came to the conclusion I was awake. Just as I was closing my eyes to go back to sleep, I felt these extremely strong vibrations all through my body. I was so freaked out and my heart started to beat faster and I started to say, "NO!NO!" in my head. Then I told my mother about it. So what was with all the vibrations?

Hallucinations. They're nothing to worry about. This commonly happens when your body is entering Sleep Paralysis. It's when your body is paralyized outside of the REM sleep.

All you have to do is not be afraid of them, as they may become worse.

      They're good, good, viiibrations! Lol

But ya, Slayer is right. If you fear them they become pretty scary, if not it's just a stepping stone to WILD =]

Oh I've felt that too! What happens after the vibrations go on for a while and you're in that paralysis stage?

I think you maybe hallucinate. That's the only reason why I'm scared to WILD because of the haullucinations but I'm am going to do it anyways.

You may experience other types of hallucinations. I guess some people see some really messed up things...but then again, I don't try to sleep with my eyes open

Hmmm well i guess it depends what you see in your hallucinations.

Oh hey, sometimes when I'm really tired, I've felt faint touch sensations on my face and hands... would that count as a hallucination or the beginning of vibrations?

So you can have hallucinations before the vibrations? I always thought it was supposed to go the other way?

      Please excuse my ignorance haha.

      ah thanks.

Say, while we're on the topic, what's the significance of a shrinking feeling? The best way to describe it is that your body feels like it's far to huge, while you're drawing back inside your mind. Know what I'm trying to explain?

It stands for Wake Induced Lucid Dream... so going straight from being awake to LDing without a change in awareness. That much I know haha

That's what I hear. It seems pretty tricky though, from what I've read in some tutorials and such, but definitely desirable.
