This question is for anyone familiar with the numerous layers of lucidity. Last night I had a dream with certain flashes of consciousness, but was not able to become truly 100% lucid. I was running away from a security guard, and found that I couldn't run properly. Having had a similar dream earlier that night, I thought to myself "Hey, this is just like the last dream I had." As I kept running, I remembered somebody mentioning that in dreams, you could run faster on all fours, which actually worked. I realized that I was wearing a very flashy jacket, and thought I should take it off, or the security guard would spot me, I unzipped it, hoping I was wearing something neutral and inconspicuous underneath, which I was. It's important to note that I wasn't conscious all throughout these moments, but rather at certain points. I never truly realized that I could become lucid, and control my dream, but rather took me dream situation for granted. It was interesting how I was able to recall my last dream, and exert a certain amount of control without really trying to, though.

So, how lucid was I?
