Anyone used a blindfold as an RC before?

Hey all, I was watching a video about lucid dreaming someone posted where the creator of it was stating a few non-movement orientated RCs. One that caught my attention was a blindfold (or dream mask). Basically, tell yourself upon gong to bed that if you see without knowingly taking it off you'll be in a dream. Sounds quite simple but has anyone tried it before? Just thought I'd ask

Sounds quite simple but has anyone tried it before? Just thought I'd ask Never tried it, but wouldn't you forget you had it on in the first place while you are dreaming? Just wondering.. though if it works why not?

Well I tried it last night. It didn't give me any lucids but I did have fantastic dream recall and while trying a WILD got the farthest into it than ever before. Totally cutting out my vision really helped to be honest.

First post on the forums I've tried this twice in the past week.. I don't have a mask, but i used a thick headband to cover my eyes. I've found it helps a lot, because my eyes always flicker and open when I try to WILD normally, but this stops that. After a while of waiting and seeing some HI, I realized I could see my around room in a blue-green tint, with some spiral-tunnel like thing going around it. I knew I was really close to 'jumping in,' and I did somehow, but ended up standing in a room somewhere else in my house... It was so weird, but so awesome, and it started the longest LD I've had so far.

that is so awesome i'm gonna try that tonight i think i have a good thick headband for this
