      Mantras?

I'm sorry if there is already a posted thread like this( I searched and couldn't find anything ). Anyways post or list any mantras that aid you before sleep ( like before attempting a WILD or while Meditating) and give a reason for why you use the mantra you use. (does it connect to you? do the words motivate you? etc.) I hope this can build up into a large list so, those who are curious if mantras help concentration can put some of these to the test and see how well they work for each person. if you test one and take away results (say you don't become lucid, or you do) please post the conditions you were under(quiet room, lighting: no lights, feeling:Motivated, etc.) hopefully this thread can help some of you induce lucid dreams once it becomes larger!

I believe mantras can be powerful to project an intention into the future. There's the one laBerge uses:

"I will remember to realize I am dreaming"

When lying in bed, I inhale until "realize", pause, and exhale ending with "dreaming", inhale, etc.

      Another one I like is:

"Remember me to realize I am dreaming."

Same thing, except I connect the thought with my dreamguides. Several times I've been told right upfront in a dream that I was dreaming by a DC. Their appearance changes (if there is one, once I just heard a voice-over) but I know that the "I" in the dream is just one aspect of me. So I use the mantra to connect to the other "me's" if you will, who will sometimes help the dream "I".

Thank you for starting us off psylocibin! a very fine start with two fine mantras! laBerge is a big inspiration in dreaming to me. also great connection through experience talking to characters in your dreams is a great way of discovering who you are as a person. those many characters posses some part of your conscience so it is like speaking with yourself in a different form.
it's a very interesting thought considering DG's sometimes posses knowlege we have not harnessed yet. After an experience like that they seem to activate that knowlege we had beleived to be unknown, but really lied deep within us waiting to be unlocked. once again thank you for the two mantras! I shall try to incoporate this into my WILD tonight.
