      Should I try a WILD?

I've only been dream recalling and doing reality checks for three days. Do you think it's too early for me to try a WILD?

You can do wild when ever you find yourself fit to do it,
because you will bump into your own borders of talent anyway.
So as long as you listen to your own instinct not much can go wrong.
Many ppl need instructions or guidance from others, why not learn
to trust on yourself. Try it and see if u like it.
If u like it go on with it, if not then stop, its all very simple
Only dont expect to much from it, just go for it and see where it takes you.

      Good luck!

      All right thanks.

I tried it last night but I kind of screwed it up. I'm trying it again tonight though.

Does anybody know of the HILD works reliably for most people?

I would suggest you try a few different methods at the same time. There is a very good chance you will find one that works best for you!

Good luck and let us know how it is going, we are here to help you.

Sorry for the late reply, things have been a little busy for me lately.

I think you should learn about all the different techniques and find what works. It takes awhile, Ive been practicing for 3 months and just now I think Im close to getting it. I think I just put all the techniques together, I try using the self hypnosis techniques while falling back asleep watching the HI and telling myself I will dream.

Like all the others said, everyone is different and responds differently
You need to try the techniques and find what works best for you
Theres no reason you can't try a variety of techniques and mix and match them to fit.
And don't be scared to experiment, and use your common sense and explore options

      Good luck
And let us know any specific problems with any of the techniques

Of course you should try WILD, you should get your feet wet in every possible technique to attain lucidity. Eventually you'll find one that clicks. I would recommend the WBTB method, this one seems to be the most affective and is an alteration on WILD.

I see WBTB as a method used WITH a wake induced technique.... but thats just me.
My other pet rant is that there are 2 main branches of technique = dream induced and wake induced. However WILD, as a technique, is darn confusing as a name, as it expands to 'wake induced'. Which is bull. MILD, VILD and my wake version of SHILD are all wake induced methods too. WILD's name sucks

      Maybe thats just me..
