      SP help

Hi people, I am new here and I have a problem. I don't know if it is common or not. When I am trying to go into SP my heart starts pumping really fast. I hate this feeling so much. And when I am about to start dreaming, I wake up, because my mind is focusing on heart. I am also scared a bit because of so fast beating heart. Is it common or is something wrong with me? Do you have any ideas how to solve this problem? Maybe I'm just to excided about SP and whole thing about lucid dreams. But it really freaks me out(fast beating heart).

If is it in wrong room, you can move it.

Someone with more experience with WILD (I am assuming you are doing this sense you mention sp) could probably help you better.

But have you tried to relax before you start?

Yes, I was counting my breaths till i came to 215, that's when I started feeling SP, I think I already started dreaming or I was about to begin, but my heart started beating really fast.

i found the only way to get over it is to fail. a lot. it took about 20 failed attempts before I got used to the feeling.

anyway I hope you find a more effective technique than mine, for your sake.

Hmm, i don't know if you understand me. The problem is not about SP and how I feel in it, but my fast beating heart. I don't mind strange feelings or hallucinations. I don't know... Did anybody else had this problem? About fast beating heart? Maybe I was just.. to excited or smth. but I am not sure.

Yes, I get this ALL the time. Almost every time I"m in SP I get the rapid heart beats. This is ONLY a hallucination. Your brain works differently in SP, it doesn't register or process senses/sounds the same and may input senses (rapid heart beating, pressure on chest, pain) to make up for the lack of exterior input (because your body is techinically asleep right now)

Somone correct me or elaborate on this, as I am not an expert but I do exp SP alot.

Anyways, this is normal, try your best to ignore it and tell yourself "It's all in my head, this will soon pass and I will enter my dream" I did this and it worked, I "fell" through my bed and when I got up I was in a dream.

      Good luck
