Better way to wake up after dream for DEILD??

I've been trying to DEILD, but I just don't wake up after my dreams. I've tried watch alarms, but they usually don't wake me up. I don't want to turn my real alarm on or it will wake other ppl up. And drinking water won't work, because I will get up to go the the rest room, and that ruins the DEILD. Advice please?

well if you want to use an alarm that won't wake people up you could try this: set your cellphone to vibrate and set its alarm. fix it to your hand with a wristband or something like that so your fingers are over the button that turns off the alarm (assuming you have a phone with that side button that does this). then you only have to move a finger and you don't disrupt your DEILD attempt.

hey, that's actually pretty clever. I would just be afraid I might roll over on it or something.

that's another thing - making a habit of staying still with your eyes closed is good for DEILDing. moving around a lot makes it harder... you're trying to wake up without moving, remember. if the phone is attached well enough rolling over shouldn't be a problem.
