      Lucid clusters

      Hi folks!

I've noticed a change in my lucid dreaming patterns and would like to get your input on it. It seems that my lucid dreaming has changed to cluster mode, which in itself is not too bad since at least I'm still having them. Here is how it goes.

I'll have a one to two week dry spell and then BAM! I'll have two to three nights with 3+ lucid dreams each night.

What I would really like to figure out is just WTF is causing this? It would be nice to know both what is causing the dry spell and what causes one of the clusters.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

I'd love to know that too.... when I had my last 'wet' spell , I had eg 4 in a night, and then nothing for 4 days.
Similar thing, but yours seems to happen in larger grouped clusters

As for a reason - no idea

Maybe something to do with your sleep pattern? I've noticed that I have a tendency to get vivid recall and often lucid dreams on Monday night, but not any other night during the week...

Seeker, I experience something very similar to yours, almost more intensely though. I will go a few weeks where I will have several LDs in the morning every morning and several if I take a nap at any point in the day...then they will vanish for a week or two...then all of a sudden come back with a bang. I would also love to know what is causing this. I haven't really changed my sleeping patterns at all, or eating habits or anything. I thought it might have something to do with varying hormones during my monthly cycle, but since guys experience this too that cannot be it. I wonder if it could have something to do with the phases of the moon? Or other planetary activities? Something to look into for sure... good topic Seeker.

Well looks like the dry spell is over. I had LDs this morning...bring on the "lucid clusters" hehe.

I've noticed that each dry spell lasts about 2 weeks, followed by lucids for about 2 weeks...BUT WHY?? Any thoughts?
