      also taking note of all of the sensations your senses are giving u. like ur surroundings, that helps me stay lucid, for a couple seconds.....

      i often have a problem with sustaining lucidity, that if i don't be aware of my surroundings i would immediately wake up, or if i turn my head too fast.
      100+ Nights of LDs in my high school days.
      Starting again after almost 10 years.

      What has worked well for me is touching whatever you can find in the environment. I think feeling your surroundings is analogous to holding onto your dream, and things have always stabilized after the dream becomes what I perceive as real.

      Yeah it also depends on the person as well. Something may work for one person, but not for another. You just gotta see what works for you!
