Thread: Jump around! JUMP i said!

It is hard, because if you at work or at school, it would be quite odd for you to get up and jump out of the blue. Otherwise it is pretty good...

Yeah, you've touched on a major LD boundary there Wasup. My dreams are always flooded with characters, and they are very enveloping - people reinforce the dream reality and enhance self-consciousness. Thus, lucidity triggers which seem embarrassing or unusual in the real world of self-consciousness are unnatural to use in dreams also. Although that said, this idea is a very good one if your dreams aren't as constantly social as mine unfortunately are.

i didnt thought ppl interested in something as heterodoxical as lucid dreaming would care about others seeing them jump!
well, maybe some other people will find this technique useful, as long as u arnt ashamed of yourself!

It should work, but honestly its less conspicuous to just find something to throw up in the air, and watch it.
If gravity doesn't work as usual, then its a dream.

Jumping around at work will get me some concerned looks and some white coat attention

Jumping in the real world will always be the same. Period.
Jumping in the dream world will most definitely end in two possible ways: Abnormal jump (enhanced height, abnormal feeling, etc) or flying. any of which is a pretty obvious sign of \"hey dude, ur dreaming\"

so

if you jump during the day alot, Rchecking, jumping will hopefully transfer oitself into your dreams, and voila! LD!
pretty easy to perform , obvious as a naked man in a church and, somehow, jumping in the dreamworld is pretty common, if you also jump during the day

As i said before, i dont know if this has been tried before so dont start calling me palgiary!

RC, and i suppose everyone in this forum will agree, are not a fool's action

And, by the way, one jump will do it, about 8-10 times a day

i'll try it, but i must say that i've never actually jumped before in my dream...
