      MILD's have been successful!

the past 2 lucid dreams ive had, i used the MILD technique

I would lay down in bed and as I would relax and concentrate on my breaths i would tell myself inside my head "I will remember my dreams.. I will remember to do a reality check"

and each time I would wake up I would do that process over til I fell asleep, and so far it has worked (nights that i have got good sleep)

last night i didn't get great sleep but was able to have a fairly vivid non lucid...

each night I at least remember 1 dream so its straight!

      thats it for now!

It's good that this is working, I hope it continues! Sounds more like auto suggestion than MILD, though.

I've had bad experiences working with VILDs so I haven't tried any other alternative LD attempts other than DILDs. I'm now going to give MILD a try for a week or so. I know it depends on the person but does this sound like an ok amount to give it a try or should I try for longer.

Whatever you feel comfortable with. if you wanna try it, go for it. Just relax in bed and lay there with your eyes closed. Just keep repeating to yourself every now and then that you will remember your dreams, and that you will remember to do a reality check.

Now it hasn't worked for me every night because my sleep cycle varies each night, but if you have a solid sleep cycle that doesn't change, it might be easier to see how often it really works...

      Good luck to you!

The MILD Technique is pretty great and simple to use.

I use MILD and it have made me get all my LD's. I quit with LD, but now I am back with the same technique. So I hope it won't take long before I get some results again, haven't gotten any for a week.

I do MILD kinda the same way you do it, but I also visualise some dream scene where I become lucid in my head.

I've found that MILD, if you do it properly, works great.
