      WBTB question

Well the easiest way for me to explain my problem would probably be with an example

I go to bed at 2a.m. and set my alarm clock for 7a.m.
but at about 5a.m. I wake up not on purpose and it takes me an hour to get back to sleep

should I still wake up at 7 or should i just sleep regularly?

Hmm, that sounds frustrating. What seems to be waking you up early? It might help to go to bed a couple hours earlier and set your alarm for five instead of seven. I use WBTB every morning that i dont have to work early and you dont need 5-6 hours of sleep to successfully WILD, you can do it with less but the 5-6 hours helps you get into REM sleep, so your dreams might not be as good. Basically try to find the root of the problem and fix it, or just go to bed earlier. See if that works

You would need to set your alarm clock for one hour later than if you hadn't been awake for one hour. However, you can certainly still WILD after only 4 hours of sleep.

EDIT: Oh and you could just sleep regularly but then the chance of a WILD would go out the door. Nice avatar btw.
