Hey Taylor, |
|
Sometimes just before I am about to fall asleep I will hear something in my room fall and crash to the ground, whenever this happens it startles me and when I look around my room I find that everything is where it should be, and as real as the noises seem when I hear them, they don't seem real at all when I am thinking about them afterward... does this ever happen to anyone else? And could it be a sign of entering a dream? |

Yeah, the hypnogogic sensations would be my very first guess for that. |

Hi there, Can you tell me, what is "HI"? |
|
Hi is hypnogogic imagery. But I thinkit counts for other sensations such as sounds and touch as well. |

yeah what you experienced were hypnogogic sounds and could mean you were entering a dream. hypnogogic sensations are what you feel, hear or see while falling asleep and are completely normal. I also hear sounds while falling asleep but normally not crashing. |

Thanks. I experience a lot of that coming out of dreams (or deep meditative spaces) too. HI again, I suppose? |
