these things take time and patience, just keep at it.

First, calm down. Second, don't try so hard. Third, how long have you been trying to lucid dream for?

It does take time and patience, like riding a bike for that matter. Keep up with your dream journal, find your dream signs and things of that nature.

RCing every hour? That is straight up overkill. Now days, I hardly ever do RC's, maybe a few times a day when I go on my walks (2.5 miles one way). Other then that, I just go with the flow of things.

It might help you to read my dream article posted below, it might give you some tips.

In the mean time, take care, and don't get overly frustrated, it will just make matters worse.

Welcome to my world, lol. I'm in your shoes right now, as I have not yet to attain a Lucid Dream, and sometimes I can't remember to do RC's in my Dreams or take too long to write them down.

My advice is, don't get give up, you'll eventually get one.

Well it might help if you do the RC when you see certain things. Like instead of doing it every hour, you do it whenever you see your computer, whenever you walk into your bed room. Or whenever you first enter your house. Something that is hopefully fairly common in your dreams.
