It is much easier to LD on days when life gets boring. There is not only less on one's mind (there is less distracting one from LDing) but there is more of an impetus to try to achieve some sort of excitement. |

I agree. I think that the mind has to do more to entertain itself when we're bored, so our creativity goes up. I know that as I've been writing a novel, I'll suddenly get creative bursts when I'm bored. However, I don't think that I'll purposely induce boredom in order to have more creative lucids. I've had some pretty exciting dreams despite (or perhaps due to) great excitement in my life. (In fact, I think that when it comes to dreams, I have more vivid, creative, moments in them while I'm having exciting things happen in my life). |

Well my suggestion is not exactly to sit around and do nothing, but bore yourself... constructively. For instance, what I usually do is go through scientific literature and try to read it - this does the trick for me. |

Yeah, I know what you mean... When life gets interesting I tend to forget all about lucid dreaming and don't reality check, because suddenly lucid dreaming seems less interesting. |
