Unhappy First lucid dream. YAY! But...

EDIT: Sh!t. Wrong forum Can this please be moved to Attaining lucidity or general lucid discussion. THX

I just had my first lucid dream, but...

      I need help. Badly.

      1: I was barely aware.

2: I had almost no control.

3: The dream itself was not very clear at all.

If anybody can help me with this stuff at all it would be greatly appreciated. From what I've heard, lucid dream can/should/do feel like real life, but this still felt pretty much like a dream... PLEASE! HELP!

      tell me.
what does mean barely aware, for you?
      control doesn't mean lucidity....
      clarity doesn't mean lucidity too...
what did you felt? why you say barely aware?

Next time your lucid try to spin or look at your hands, it should increase awareness and clarity. Don't worry I bet tonight you will be able to try this out and you will have a much more enjoyable lucid dream

And a lucid dream is just a dream where you know its a dream, nothing less and nothing more. Control and clarity can vary greatly with lucid dreams but if you know its a dream your lucid.

Moved your thread Fabio. Sugarglider is right. In addition to that, screaming out "INCREASE CLARITY NOW!!!" has worked wonders for me in terms of solidifying the dream scene and increasing my lucidity within it.

Thanks, All. From what I've read, I just need to spend more time and stabilize the dream. I'm adding some of these elements to my reality checks, which I hope helps. Hope that I can have some fun lucid dreams in the future.

Ok, If you need that i'll tell you. The dream was very unstable, and I had no control. After reading a bit more, it turns out that I was getting stability and awareness mixed up. Also, I mean awareness of my surroundings. I was aware I was dreaming.

It was defiantly a lucid dream. The only thing that is needed for a dream to be lucid is for you to know you are dreaming.
