I always wake up after I realise im dreaming.

Ive been trying to have a lucid dream for a while now, but as soon as I realize that I'm, dreaming I wake up. Is there anything I can do to stay in the dream?

      Thanks!

rub your hands together or start spinning around really fast, it should stabilize the dream

Just keep at it, and stay calm, don't freak out.
It should go away after you have a couple successes, I've heard of people that did that 4 nights in a row
Give it some time, keep trying. Congrats on the technical successes, though.

I agree with what James and nN said. In addition to that, spinning around, and focusing on your hands or another object in your vicinity (even the minutest of details are important) works to help solidify the dream state and maintain ones lucidity. Hope this helps.

      Hey there.

I had the same problem that you are going through. In my first lucid i spinned with no results. Since then i tried different techniques and i found that rubbing your hands while looking at the ground and watching it carefully and trying to really feel the dream (use your senses: visual, auditive, tactile, etc) worked pretty well for me. Try it next time and say something.

      Good luck.
