I was browsing the forums yesterday and came upon a new technique that I assume was invented by the poster. Someone named TheWierdnessSymptom, I believe, posted a technique that helped them get back to sleep after a wake back to bed.
Having failed many times to WILD, I decided to try and MILD. In order to help myself fall asleep I tried this technique. I said, "realize I am dreaming, remember my dream" then I reverse blinked. I did this over and over for around 5 min. Then I began to feel tingling...which led to odd wave like pulses through my legs and torso. This was odd because I performed this at bedtime, I did not do a WBTB. Having read up on WILDing I immediately thought, "Am I going into SP?" I am confused because before I used to WBTB and just lie there for an hour not being able to fall asleep, and here I try this and I experience odd things in like 5 min.
However, I stopped mainly because of one reason. When the what I assume to be WILD symptoms, or whatever you want to call them lol, started my heart began to beat very fast. I would think my Heartbeat would relax...but instead it increased rapidly. This worried me so I stopped. Is this normal? Can I somehow accidentally make my heart beat too fast and somehow injure myself by following this technique. Was I even starting to WILD?
