      My personal technique

Okay, I don't know if this works for others, and I know that n00b status diminishes the value of my opinion, b-u-u-u-u-u-u-u-t...

Basically, I talk about dreams all the time, as well as lucid dreaming, and thoughts in general. I also am very observant about small details. I personally believe these two things seem to initiate lucidity due to these subjects constantly rumbling in the subconscious. Since our dreams are typically surreal interpretations of our day-to-day experiences, the fact that that experience includes talking about dreams, makes think about them WHILE dreaming.

I've just started trying to lucid dream again and thus been thinking about it a lot. I have had several dreams about lucid dreaming so far, but have yet to become lucid from them, haha.

i dont think its key to keep your mind on it. I would just do a RC every now and then to get used to it. And keep a journal to keep your mind tip top shape to remembering dreams. Hope this helps.

That is a great technique Cody. I don't really know what it's categorized under, but it doesn't really matter. Thinking about a subject, focusing your thoughts, is a form of meditation. I think it's called mindfulness. The funny thing is, the only time I ever had a discussion about lucid dreaming in a dream, the dream was non-lucid!

I have read some funny dream journals about people logging on to DV chat in their dreams.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know, that you are dreaming right now.

I talk about lucid dreaming to others but I don't think it improves my ability.

Two nights ago I remeber saying " Well you know you can do anything in a dream "

Oh I was so pissed. So close to becoming lucid
It's only in your dreams that you can dodge Hitler's bullets and then go upstairs to Bonk your friends girlfriend.

There were these two fellars standin' on a bridge, a-goin' to the bathroom. One fellar said, "The water's cold" and the other fellar said, "The water's deep". I believe one fella come from Arkansas. Get it?

What's a Noob? I think anyone's idea is still valuable because it may have something I missed. One thing I have observed about my dreams is that to be able to dream of something, that something has to be either a live action activity meaning I do it and experience it for myself or it is something, an object I had seen in person. I find it very difficult to dream of something if it is a picture, an idea, a thought or a concept that has no physicality in it. But from what you say maybe because you unintentionally gave physicality/a form to represent lucid dreaming that the subconcious was able to capture while you are awake, in this case talking about it as a form of communication. In my theory if you assign a special shape or form legitimate to lucid dreaming it would be far more easy to have an LD than to have it as a concept or idea alone and do the RC based on that concept or idea.
