      Have you done anything physically exerting ie. exercise? Consumed any mind stimulants ie. caffeine? Have you done something that required concentration?

      Any of these things can stimulate your body or mind, making napping more difficult.

      But I think that you may be still too wide awake after 5 hours, unless you've slept poorly.

      On my computer all morning trying to script a game. That definitely required concentration. Plus I wanted to sleep quickly before my sisters came back. They shout all th time.

      No... I slept fine. Maybe that made things worse too?

      I think those are solid reasons why you couldn't nap.

      usually when i come home from school i'm exhausted and when i take a nap, sleep is almost instant. but when i try to LD it doesn't work
