Well, I tried reverse blinking last night and after what seemed like a few minutes(probably less), I got really uncomfortable. I tried to continue, but after a while I had to stop and move, my body just felt weird, and I couldn't stay still... |

Sometimes, when I try to WILD, my body becomes very uncomfortable and I need to get up and move around. This is usually after a day of lots of exercise and activity. Has this happened in previous attempts to WILD? I think it's just your body telling you that it's extremely tired and tonight is just not the night to WILD, using the reverse blinking method. |

I would assume that its your body testing your mind to see if its asleep or not, which can put you in a very uncomfortable state. I could be wrong though |

You spend 1/3 of your life asleep, so why waste it?
both ideas make sense. |

Try doing the 61 point relaxation technique first or progressive relaxation. If you have tried the progressive relaxation and find yourself remaining in a beta wave focus(waking focus) try the 61 point relaxation technique right after it. You might not even need to use reverse blinking after that. |

Thank you ^.^ |

I never had a successful lucid dream yet by reverse blinking but I too noticed that it was uncomfortable and caused eye strain. |
