      Stuck!!

I have kind of fallen off the band wagon the past week and a half or so. I have had dreams every night, some nights multiple dreams. I have been horrible with my dream journal due to pure lack of will power, and inability with time (work etc). I find a DJ to be to be really time consuming, especially with the details!! but of course well worth it..
I am stuck with having any sort of ability to cause or realize I am dreaming. It seems that my dreams are purely recall, meaning I have no control or ability to interact! I have had dreams about LD's and have questioned things in my dreams as not making sense, yet I cannot actively do this. It's like watching T.V. I have no control, I'm just strictly a viewer.. Any advice, and anyone else feel the same???

I seem to have the same problem. It seems that no matter how hard I try (i.e. the many times I remember to RC) I can't increase my awareness in my dreams. I never really am "inside" my dreams, but rather I only remember them when I wake up.

Yeah it feels like I haven't actually "been in" my dreams sometimes and is like...a complete memory. However, when I really think back to things (with my improving recall, thanks to my DJ) I...feel like I was there but just missed (very obvious) opportunities to become lucid.

      Let's keep at it.

EDIT: Example being this morning I remembered a dream about some dude throwing molotovs around my home area, but then I really (and vividly) remember looking into a burnt out house, examining the damage, really feeling that I was there. It's just all a little hazy if I don't instantly remember to recall dreams as soon as I wake up.

And I don't have the willpower to write them down as soon as I wake up, I just go over and over the dream in my head as I'm trying to get back to sleep/attempt to WILD, and then write it down later in the day.

I have the same exact problem... But I think over time I will gain more control.
