For a while now ive been doing goal setting. Something i recently picked up from Stephen Laberges book EWLD. Shocking for me this has made my LD rate blow of into the sky. From a pretty long dry period to aproximently 1 LD per night for over 1 month now this has completly turned the situation around for me. At first i thought it just was coisidence, but as i gradualy reached my goals and made new ones i understand goal setting is the reason. Ive commed to understand that goal setting is a way to push my own limits, and when reached set new ones, little more difficult than the one before. This also boosted my motivation up a notch. Cause now i had spessific dates to concentrate on, to reach a amount of LD, instead of walking about wishing for LD everyday. When the date was there i could review the week and analyse what i sucseeded in or what went wrong. This knowledge i brought about to the next goal. It works with lucid dreaming like everything else in life. You want to stop smoking you set a goal, you want to have bigger muscles you set a goal, and within this goals all that is necesary to reach the goal follows with. Same with LD you set a goal. Some long termed and some short termed, like in a week. |
