      How Close was I??

i tried to wild. I layed down relaxed myself, then just waited untill i felt my legs getting numb, then my wrist and arms. It also felt as if someone was pulling my foot down to the bed, it was weird. Then i started seeing random scenes but i wasn't really aware of this when it was happening, then suddenly, i would be aware again and the scene would dissapear untill a new one come, but then again i wasnt aware that the scene was taking place untill after i became aware that it just happened. After a while of doing this, i got really dizzy for some reason and it felt like i was spinning to my right, i just let it happen, and then it stopped and from then on i didn't really see anything or nothing really happened except sometimes i would feel my legs get numb again. Then i thought to myself what if i was in a dream ever since the dizzy thing happened, but i didnt want to ruin it, so i just stayed there even more untill i just told myself to roll over. I rolled over, everything seemed normal, i looked at the time, done some reality checks, and then realized i wasnt dreaming. Throughout this whole process, i didnt feel any vibrations, didn't hear any or i didnt hear any of those sound things.

I was just wondering if i was somewhat near, or any advice on what to do

      thanks

You were extremely close. You will start seeing scenes of what ever you think of right when you are about to doze off and have a dream that will most likely become lucid.

That is almost exactly how it is for me.

As soon as you have some of those random thought scenes, just keep telling your self (in your head) "I am dreaming.. I am dreaming.." And you will probably fall asleep shortly after and hopefully in your dream you will realize you are dreaming.

And it sounded like you were napping. Napping is a ton easier to realize I am dreaming for me, probably because your mind has been fully awake for most / some of the day.

Just keep napping and I'm sure you will get a LD very very soon. Good luck!

      You are very close.

What I suggest is when you start seeing different scenes and visual images, you should start to visualise your body moving.
Try to visualize how your body moves when it runs, how the wind feels against your skin, how the earth underneath you feels against your feet. Literally try to feel the movement. Also, try to visualize a environment, I always find a forest or field easy to visualize.
Hopefully you will find yourself even more imersed into the scene and eventually taking control of them.

This is what I do when I want to WILD. I find that visualizing is the best way to end up in a lucid dream. However, this is all about preference, what works for me might not work for you.
