I hope this is posted in the apropriate place. I was recently itrodused to a concept of altering brain waves using certain tones and certain beats. To describe it in a nut shell there are 4 brain waves each with a specific function. They are alpha, beta, thetra?, and delta. Each has a specific frequancy and pitch. This concept uses tones that realign these brain waves thus altering how the brain functions. This is basicly how hypnosis works. Certain delta waves are played that put the brain into a trance while an out side source is giving "suggestions" such as "u will no longer be afraid of the dark". Due to the trance like state the bind is in the suggestions then enter your subconscious and u then are no longer afraid of the dark. This tecnique could then in theory be used to induce lucidity by putting your self in a trance state and have some one or s recording of your self saying that u will preform a RC while u dream or every time u see a dream sign, somthing along those lines. What ever you come up with that works. Unfortunatly I don't no the exact frequency in which the delta wave has to be played. Tho I belive it's somthing like :: MHz? I don't no I'll research more into this but I just wanted to propose this idea. It any one can give more info or has any suggestions please post coments. Thanks (wow that's alot of text)

there called theta waves and theta frequencies are about 4 hz. If you search the forum you'll find that there are a few of these sound made. I personaly like the The_Ultimate_Lucid_Induction.mp3, it contains theta waves and it puts me in SP in about 10 min.
