omg..I ignored hypnagogic imagry. Read this it may help you. Living lucid in Waking life.

So this morning I was really tired. I was due for a REM-rebound, but in no way at all was I even trying to WILD. Anyway I went to sleep this morning at around 9 a.m., closed my eyes, and fell asleep.

JUST now I'm am remembering that I seen hypnagogic imagery. Like I ACTUALLY seen it and could have pulled myself into a dream. It's like I was lucid almost, low-level lucid in that I was aware of the hypnagogic imagry but i was "just there" and observed.

I don't remember exactly what i saw in HI, but I know what it FELT like. It literally felt like my subconscious thoughts were manifesting, like a thought came and it instantly became real. I have a feeling this is how it works in waking life but on a subconscious level and MUCH slower. If i was more aware I might have been able to control hypnagogic imagery, If i would have had full conscious control of my thoughts, I could just think something and it would just become real.

I've experienced HI once before when i attempted to WILD, but it wasn't as clear or vivid as the ones I had this morning.

I also think this happened because I am living life more lucidly.

Dreamviews, learn to live lucidly, it is the key to WILDing. You won't have to count to 1,000 or count your breaths or do math problems or any of that. Living lucidly means paying attention to your senses. You would not believe how much t.v., video games, and computer screen distracts you from your senses. In no way am I saying those things are bad, but it does distract you from your senses.

Pay attention to your senses, when you walk down the street, actually "feel" your feet touching the ground, when you eat food, don't just eat, "taste" the flavors in your mouth, when you go to get something out of the fridge "feel" the handle on the fridge, or even when your on the computer, notice your fingers touching the keys and your hand on the mouse.

Close your eyes for just a moment, actually listen to what you hear, the computer fan running?, the air from heating/AC unit?, crickets outside, even the fridge running. THAT is living lucidly. You don't have to do this constantly 24/7, but just making an effort to try and do this will significantly help you reach lucidity. Being lucid in waking life, automatically makes you lucid in dreams.
