Thread: Lucidity Problems =/

Last night is probably one of my best nights in attempts to get lucid.

I was sleeping and was woken up about an hour and a half into my sleep, I never opened my eyes. I laid their for a little and my body started feeling numb and would have occasional twitches or tingles. I kept seeing bright flashes behind my eyelids.. and then my eyes started freaking out (For lack of a better term.)

After a few minutes of this I started visualizing walking down a hallway and my mind helped create it and addon. I felt like I was flipped over and over. That feeling stopped and it felt as if somebody has just tilted my bed sideways. I gave this a few minutes and then attempted to "get up" from my dream body.. but instead.. It was my physical body. I've never lucid dreamed before.

Could anybody tell me what the eyes part is about? And when people say "get up" in your dream body.. what is that supposed to mean? Any clarification is greatly appreciated.
