Hi guys

I've been trying to LD for about 5 months now, with little succes. Which is no problem, really, cause after all those months of reality checking, WBTB'ing, and WILDing, I still find myself motivated enough to get it done.

I've had few little succeses where, I believe, I was partially lucid.

Anyway, here's my problem: The thing I've been trying lately, is when I go to bed, I lie on my back, put my hands on my stumach, and just breathe slowly, easily, and let my mind wander, and I try to focus on the images that will soon be appearing infront of me.

At a certain point, I will notice my body starts to feel a little more numb. Also, I would get a twitch every now and then. And eventually, I'd sometimes feel like I'm 'dozing off', 'slipping into sleep'. Like my body is floating up, except it isn't.

After that point, I'd either fall asleep, black-out, and wake up in the morning only to find out that I dreamed, and failed to become lucid in it. Or I get too excited with the thought of me falling asleep, and I become too much awake again. Usually after I get too excited to actually fall asleep, I have a hard time falling asleep again. (If that makes sense.)

I'd really like some comments on what's been happening, and I'm really hoping on some tips.

I've been trying to LD for 5 months with little succes, and I read that people achieved lucidity within 2 months! I'd just like to find out what I'm doing wrong.
